fucking van

tour has been a blast so far.  We're out with The Carrier and The Mongloids, but things got intense yesterday.  Lets start at the beginning.  We had a tire blowout on Friday night.  It was scary, but not a big deal.  Triple A came and put the spare on so we were saved.  Since it was Friday night we couldn't get the tire fixed, so we did a 12 hour all night drive on the spare... bad idea.  We said "around 9 we'll find a place that's open to get the tire fixed."  At 9:14 am, we heard an explosion, lost control of the van, and heard the sound of metal grinding on the road.  Luckily we pulled over before anything bad could happen.  The entire spare had snapped off.  We were just on the roter.  The spare, which was on the car, bounced way into the woods, near cows.  Long gone.  Luckily, we're all alive.  The hillbillies in the random town in Missouri we were in helped us out, got us some new tires, and we were off without missing a beat.

Tour With Bane

So getting our van has turned out to be the biggest headache ever.  We played Haverhill without it.  Then registered it and got the plates put on just in time to make it to the next show in Amherst.  Stress is finally over, and tour has begun.  Amherst was wild.  Tons of kids, and an awesome reaction.  We finally made it to western Mass!  Thanks to everyone who was patient through all the times we were supposed to play but things got fucked.

Last night was our last MA show, and our first time playing the Wheelchair.  I love that venue.  Worcester punks rule!  We went on after midnight.  Commit jumped on our set.  Rad dudes, awesome band.  We were glad they could play.  Then we went on to another wild reaction, which ended in a riot.  That's the 2nd Worcester show in a row that we had to cut our set because of a fight.  Of course, it got taken outside, and the cops showed up, cutting the show off early.  It sucks when things like that happen.  The Wheelchair is too cool a place to be broken up by fights.

Today we played Philly.  We all slept maybe an hour and a half, left at 6am and drove straight down from Worcester.  It finally feels like tour, and we couldn't possibly be more pumped.  This was by far one of the best times I've ever seen Bane.  They tore it up and absolutely blew me away.  Maximum Penalty jumped on an played right before them... Sean was psyched.

5 Against 1

Before our record comes out we're releasing a 5 song cassette on 1917.  It's called 5 Against 1, and has 3 new songs from our new LP, and 2 covers.  Get out your walkman's and bring back 1993.

New Record!

"For Redemption" is done. I am so pumped on how it came out.  We went into the recording not really knowing what to expect, but we held nothing back, and I couldn't possibly be any happier with the result.  It's 10 new songs that in my opinion are the best stuff we've done so far.  It'll be out in July.  Get psyched!
